The Steamboat: Distressed Buffalo Leather Belt
I handcraft The Steamboat in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from one solid piece of full-grain buffalo leather with a distressed, aged-looking finish. The antique-gold center-bar buckle gives it a vintage look that pairs especially well with jeans and casual wear.
Product Features
- Full-grain buffalo leather
- One-piece leather construction with no bonded layers or fillers
- Distressed vintage-style finish
- 1.5 inches wide (38mm)
- Antique-gold finish center-bar buckle
- Removable buckle secured with two heavy-duty brass-finish snaps
- Matching leather keeper
- Handcrafted in Colorado Springs, Colorado
The distressed finish is intentionally varied. Marks, tonal differences, and worn-looking areas are part of the design rather than defects, and the belt will continue to develop character with use.
How to Choose Your Size
Do not order your pants size. Lay a belt that fits you flat and measure from the start of the leather at the buckle fold to the hole you use most often.
That measurement is the belt size to order. If your measurement is an odd number, round up to the next even size. For example, a 37-inch measurement means ordering size 38.
Review our belt sizing guide before ordering. Contact me if you need help choosing a size.
Exchanges are accepted on eligible items. Please review our Exchange Policy for full details.
Leather Care
Wipe the belt with a soft cloth as needed. Avoid aggressive cleaners or heavy conditioning that could flatten or darken the distressed finish. If conditioning becomes necessary, test a small inconspicuous area first.
- Cleaning: Wipe away dust and surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Use a slightly damp cloth when necessary, but do not soak the leather.
- Conditioning: Apply leather conditioner only when the leather begins to feel dry. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area first because conditioner may darken or alter the finish.
- Drying: Allow wet leather to air-dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer, heater or direct sunlight.
- Storage: Store the belt in a cool, dry place. Hang it by the buckle or roll it loosely—never fold it sharply.
