Every belt we make is built to last. Because each item is individually crafted and made-to-order to your exact choices, we do not offer refunds or cancellations for sizing mistakes, preference changes, or buyer’s remorse. However, we proudly stand behind our work and offer a streamlined exchange process to ensure you get the perfect fit.
CRITICAL SIZING REQUIREMENT: Getting an accurate measurement is crucial before ordering. We measure our belts from the fold of the leather to the most-used fitting hole (not to the tip of the belt, and not matching your pants size). To guarantee a correct fit, please carefully measure your current belt using our official Belt Sizing Guide prior to completing your purchase.
Exchanges (U.S. Customers Only)
If you made a sizing mistake or need a structural adjustment, we gladly offer exchanges within thirty (30) days of your original purchase date under the following requirements:
- The item must be in brand new, unworn, and unused condition, showing no signs of wear, buckle pin indentations, or leather stretching.
- All original packaging and tags must be present and attached.
- Exchanges are subject to a flat $6.50 return shipping & handling fee to cover processing and shipping your replacement belt. Please include a check or money order payable to The Belt Shoppe inside your return box.
How to Process a Domestic Exchange:
- Safely pack your item using any trackable shipping carrier of your preference.
- Include a clear note inside the package containing:
- Your full name and original order number.
- The specific exchange details (desired size, leather color, and buckle finish).
- Your confirmed return shipping address.
- We strongly recommend utilizing a trackable and insured shipping method. The Belt Shoppe cannot be held responsible for return shipments lost or damaged in transit.
Exchanges (International Customers)
International customers must contact our team directly before returning any item across borders. Once reached, we will issue a return authorization, calculate direct carrier shipping rates, and arrange a secure link to process payment for the international return shipping before your replacement item is scheduled for production.
When Full Monetary Refunds Apply
Full monetary refunds or complimentary replacements are strictly limited to rare errors arising from our workshop. A full refund to your original payment method will be approved only if:
- Defective Goods: The item arrives with an structural defect in the leather hide, stitching, or hardware finishes.
- Order Discrepancies: We shipped an item differing from the exact specifications (size, style, or color) on your invoice.
- Non-Delivery: The shipment is officially lost in transit and not marked as "Delivered" by the designated carrier.
Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival. Any shipping damage, shortage, or errors must be reported within three (3) days of delivery to Help@thebeltshoppe.com with accompanying photos so we can quickly address the issue.
Exclusions & Final Sale Items
- Custom Layouts: Belts with personalized name stamping, specialized hole spacing requests, or custom modifications cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
- Processing Time: Once approved, standard financial refunds are applied to your original payment card within 3 to 5 business days depending on your banking institution.
