No. While the double prong buckle has deep roots in Western and ranch wear, it is also commonly used in workwear and casual fashion. Paired with the right leather finish, it works well with jeans, chinos, and casual trousers.

Is a double prong buckle harder to use than a single prong?

It takes a small amount of extra effort to seat both prongs simultaneously, but most wearers adjust quickly. The buckle stays put once fastened, which is the main advantage for active use.

Can I replace the buckle?

Most belts in this collection have the buckles sewn in place.  The brown Crazy Horse double prong comes with 2 snaps so you can replace the buckle.  We are slowly replacing the belts to come with snaps as we sell them, but currently only the brown crazy horse comes with a removable belt buckle. 

Are these belts made in the USA?

Yes. Our double prong leather belts are handcrafted in the USA using domestic and imported full-grain leather, with close attention paid to construction quality and hardware.
