What Is Pull-Up Leather?

Pull-up leather is premium buffalo hide treated with oils and waxes. When you bend or pull the leather, it creates natural color shifts.

The cognac finish lightens at stress points and darkens in creases. This means your belt develops a unique look over time. No two belts age the same way.

How to Find Your Size

Lay your current belt flat. Measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use now.

Round up to the nearest even number. That's your size.

Example: If you measure 37" or 38", order size 38. We'll make the center hole your perfect fit.

A Belt That Improves With Age

This belt gets better over time. The pull-up leather develops rich color variations as you wear it. It becomes more supple while staying strong for decades.

Whether you're at work or on weekend adventures, The Pioneer adds quality and style to every outfit.

  • Cleaning: Wipe away dust and surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Use a slightly damp cloth when necessary, but do not soak the leather.
  • Conditioning: Apply leather conditioner only when the leather begins to feel dry. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area first because conditioner may darken or alter the finish.
  • Drying: Allow wet leather to air-dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer, heater or direct sunlight.
  • Storage: Store the belt in a cool, dry place. Hang it by the buckle or roll it loosely—never fold it sharply.

Not Sure About Your Belt Size?

Before ordering, measure a belt that fits from the beginning of the leather at the buckle fold to the hole you use most. Do not include the buckle or rely on your pants size. Our sizing guide walks you through it, and we can help if you have questions.
