The Maverick is a tan raw-edge leather belt handmade by Amish craftsmen in Ohio from 10–12oz Wickett & Craig full-grain steer hide. The warm tan color and natural unfinished edges give this 1.5-inch belt a rugged, traditional look that will develop additional character with wear.

Natural Raw-Edge Styling

The Maverick leaves the natural side of the leather visible rather than covering it with a heavy edge coating. The result is a straightforward raw-edge leather belt that shows the actual thickness and character of the full-grain hide.

How to Choose Your Belt Size

Do not order your pants size. Lay a belt that fits you flat and measure from the start of the leather at the buckle fold to the hole you use most often. Do not include the buckle itself. Order that measurement; if it is an odd number, round up to the next even size.

The size you order corresponds to the center fitting hole. Please review the sizing illustration before ordering.

  • Cleaning: Wipe away dust and surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Use a slightly damp cloth when necessary, but do not soak the leather.
  • Conditioning: Apply leather conditioner only when the leather begins to feel dry. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area first because conditioner may darken or alter the finish.
  • Drying: Allow wet leather to air-dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer, heater or direct sunlight.
  • Storage: Store the belt in a cool, dry place. Hang it by the buckle or roll it loosely—never fold it sharply.
