The Wrangler: Brown Amish Made Full Grain Leather Belt

The Wrangler is a traditional brown leather belt made for customers who want substantial leather, dependable construction and classic American styling. Handmade by Amish craftsmen in Ohio, this belt is cut from heavyweight Wickett & Craig full-grain English bridle leather and finished with a subtle creased-edge design.

At approximately 12–14 oz, The Wrangler is considerably heavier and more substantial than the average everyday belt. The firm bridle leather provides excellent support and structure while the rich brown color pairs naturally with jeans, boots, khakis and casual workwear.

Made from Heavyweight English Bridle Leather

The foundation of The Wrangler is its leather. Each belt is made from one solid piece of full-grain English bridle leather from Wickett & Craig, an American tannery with a long-standing reputation for producing premium vegetable-tanned leathers.

English bridle leather has traditionally been valued for applications where strength and reliability matter. Its firm temper gives The Wrangler a sturdy feel and helps the belt resist the stretching and sagging commonly associated with thinner belts.

The brown leather also develops additional character with use. Rather than looking worn out quickly, quality full-grain leather tends to gain a more natural, broken-in appearance as it ages.

Traditional Style Without Being Overdone

The Wrangler features an embossed crease along the edges of the belt, giving the strap a finished, traditional appearance without the heavier decoration of a basketweave or Western-pattern belt.

That understated design is what makes the brown Wrangler so versatile. It works especially well with denim and boots, but is clean enough to wear with khakis, casual trousers or everyday business-casual clothing.

Stainless Steel Roller Buckle with Chicago Screws

A heavyweight belt deserves a buckle that can keep up with it. The Wrangler comes fitted with a durable stainless steel roller buckle designed for dependable everyday use.

Instead of permanently sewing the buckle into the belt, it is secured with Chicago screws. This gives the buckle attachment excellent strength while also allowing you to remove the included buckle and substitute many compatible buckles of your own.

Handmade in Ohio Amish Country

Each Wrangler is made by Amish craftsmen in Ohio using straightforward, time-tested belt construction. There are no hidden layers, cardboard cores or imitation materials inside the strap — just a substantial piece of quality full-grain leather and durable hardware.

The result is a belt designed around function and longevity rather than cutting material costs.

IMPORTANT: Order the Correct Belt Size

Do not order your pants size. Men's pants are frequently vanity sized, so the number printed on your jeans is not a reliable way to determine your belt size.

The best method is to measure a belt you already own that fits you correctly.

  1. Lay your current belt flat on a table or other surface.
  2. Begin measuring at the start of the leather at the buckle fold.
  3. Measure to the fitting hole you currently use most often.
  4. That measurement, in inches, is the belt size you should order from us.
  5. If you measure an odd number, round up to the next even size.

The size you order is measured to the center hole of the belt. With five holes spaced one inch apart, you'll have approximately two inches of adjustment smaller or larger than your ordered size.

Please review the belt-sizing illustration in the product photos before placing your order.

Customers who wear an inside-the-waistband holster or similar concealed-carry equipment may need additional belt length. Adding approximately 2 inches to your normal measured size is common, although individual setups can vary.

Made for People Who Want a Substantial Leather Belt

The Wrangler is intentionally thick, firm and heavy-duty. If you prefer a thin, soft belt that disappears around your waist, this probably isn't the right choice.

But if you want the feel of genuine heavyweight leather, American-made materials, traditional Amish craftsmanship and a belt built for years of regular use, The Wrangler delivers exactly what a quality leather belt should.

Instructions for cleaning, conditioning, and storing the product.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Use a leather-specific cleaner for deeper cleaning.
  • Conditioning: Apply a small amount of leather conditioner every 3–6 months to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and folding the belt to preserve its shape.
