The Workhorse: Thick Amish Made Leather Belt

The Workhorse is made for customers who want a substantial, traditional leather belt without the filler common in mass-produced belts. It is handmade by Amish craftsmen in Ohio from one solid piece of heavyweight full-grain leather and built for years of everyday wear.

How to Choose Your Size

Do not order your pants size. Lay a belt that fits you flat and measure from the start of the leather at the buckle fold to the hole you use most often. That measurement is the belt size to order. If you measure an odd number, round up to the next even size.

Leather Care

Wipe away dirt with a soft cloth and let the belt dry naturally if wet. Condition only when the leather begins to feel dry, using a small amount and testing an inconspicuous area first.

  • Cleaning: Wipe away dust and surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Use a slightly damp cloth when necessary, but do not soak the leather.
  • Conditioning: Apply leather conditioner only when the leather begins to feel dry. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area first because conditioner may darken or alter the finish.
  • Drying: Allow wet leather to air-dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer, heater or direct sunlight.
  • Storage: Store the belt in a cool, dry place. Hang it by the buckle or roll it loosely—never fold it sharply.
