Heavyweight Harness Leather
Harness leather is traditionally used where strength and structure matter. The approximately 14oz leather used for The Workhorse has a firm, substantial feel and will gradually break in with wear. Natural grain, minor marks, and variation from hide to hide are normal characteristics of full-grain leather.
How to Choose Your Size
Do not order your pants size. Lay a belt that fits you flat and measure from the start of the leather at the buckle fold to the hole you use most often. That measurement is the belt size to order. If the measurement is an odd number, round up to the next even size.
Review our belt sizing guide before ordering.

Leather Care
Wipe away dirt with a soft cloth and let wet leather dry naturally away from direct heat. Condition only when the leather begins to feel dry. Use a small amount and test a hidden area first because conditioner can change the color or finish.
- Cleaning: Wipe away dust and surface dirt with a clean, soft cloth. Use a slightly damp cloth when necessary, but do not soak the leather.
- Conditioning: Apply leather conditioner only when the leather begins to feel dry. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area first because conditioner may darken or alter the finish.
- Drying: Allow wet leather to air-dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer, heater or direct sunlight.
- Storage: Store the belt in a cool, dry place. Hang it by the buckle or roll it loosely—never fold it sharply.
